Sleep Doc Direct
I am a board-certified Pulmonary and Sleep medicine specialist. I started Sleep Doc Direct PLUS Breathing in order to provide Respiratory and Sleep Health services to patients in a way that made it more accessible and affordable. I spent most of my career working for big healthcare systems and was frustrated by how these organizations claimed to put patients health first but truly only cared about their bottom line

They treated people like numbers and charged them and their insurance companies astronomical prices. Perhaps worst of all, they did this while providing truly terrible customer service. Patients were waiting months to be seen, and then undergoing an uncomfortable sleep test in a sleep lab that was both very uncomfortable and very expensive.

I knew that I could do better. I saw that virtual visits and home sleep testing had the ability to revolutionize the treatment of sleep disorders. I started Sleep Doc Direct to reach these patients using a simple online format. Our team also saw a need for great respiratory care for lung disorders. We also started Sleep Doc Direct PLUS Breathing. This gives patients 2 unique services; Sleep Doc Direct offers patients great sleep care both within and beyond North Carolina, with mailed home sleep tests. PLUS Breathing offers traditional in-person appointments and complete lung function testing. Both offering cutting edge technology while using their own healthcare insurance.
